Michelle Boyd Waters, M.Ed. is a doctoral student at the University of Oklahoma and served as a secondary English teacher for 10 years. She has written numerous successful proposals for regional, national and International conferences such as the International Writing Center Association, National Council of Teachers of English, South Central Writing Center Association, and National Conference on Peer Tutoring in Writing, among others. She has and served as a reviewer for the 2023 and 2022 NCTE Conventions. She has written successful proposals for several state level conferences hosted by Oklahoma Council of Teachers of English, Oklahoma Middle Level Association, Oklahoma Writing Project, and Oklahoma Literacy Association.
