Do Your Students Struggle With Expanding Text?

TechBytes-300x3001 A fellow #ELAOK teacher shared a link to an amazing site that helps you show your students how they can expand their writing from a very basic sentence to one brimming with sensory details.

I checked out the site and I can already see how this can help my students who struggle with adding details to their paragraphs. You can view the site here:

That said, the concept of making tea may not engage some of my students. Perhaps if I could write a sentence about Minecraft, or the TV show that everyone is watching.
